Cancellation and Refund Policy
Appointment requests currently carry no WrenchFinder driver fee. Repair charges, deposits, shop cancellation fees, and repair refunds are handled by the independent shop unless a checkout expressly says otherwise.

1. Appointment requests
You may ask the shop to change or cancel a request before service begins. Use the contact information in the shop profile or confirmation. A request is not confirmed until the shop accepts it. WrenchFinder does not currently provide a customer self-service cancellation or rescheduling control.
Please cancel as early as possible. Repeated false requests, abusive no-shows, or misuse may result in account restrictions.
2. Shop deposits and repair payments
A shop may separately require a diagnostic fee, parts deposit, cancellation fee, storage fee, or other payment. The shop must disclose its terms and is the merchant responsible for charging, invoicing, taxes, refunds, and payment disputes. Ask the shop for written terms before paying.
WrenchFinder cannot issue a refund for money it did not receive. Direct repair-payment disputes must first be raised with the shop.
3. WrenchFinder charges
WrenchFinder does not currently charge a driver fee or process a repair payment in the service-request flow. Any amount paid directly to a shop is governed by the shop's invoice, payment, cancellation, and refund terms and applicable law.
4. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable consumer right. Alberta consumers may have cancellation or refund rights where required internet-sale disclosures are missing, a contract copy is not provided, delivery is late, or an unfair practice occurs. Rights depend on the facts and the identity of the supplier.
5. Shop subscriptions
Shop subscription cancellation, renewal, and refunds are governed by the signed Shop Services Agreement and Order Form, not this consumer policy.
