Before receiving customers
Confirm onboarding has provisioned the intended shop and staff accounts. Review the agreed deployed services; do not assume an Order Form enables a feature that is not deployed.
Check the customer path
Use a coordinated test that your staff recognize as a test, and handle any resulting record through the normal workflow.
- Check the shop name, role and active location in Shop OS.
- Review the public profile, contact information and service descriptions.
- Confirm the local time zone and support-managed availability requirements.
- Review the published website and booking entry point when included in your setup.
- Have an authorized tester submit a clearly identified request.
- Confirm it reaches the correct Booking Inbox and that staff can open it.
- Contact the tester and use the supported lifecycle to record the agreed outcome.
Use a real readiness criterion
The first-day goal is a customer request reaching the correct shop and being processed by authorized staff. Do not declare readiness from an empty dashboard, a successful website build or article count alone.
