Check the business and role
Read the shop name and role in the Shop OS header. When several shops are available, choose Active shop and use Switch. Switch workspace is the separate route for moving between workspaces available to the account.
Use the permitted tools
Navigation is capability-dependent. Owners and managers have access to management settings and Website Builder; other users may see a smaller set of operational areas.
- Confirm the person is using their own authenticated account.
- Review access in Team using the controls available to the authorized manager.
- Keep permissions aligned with current responsibilities.
- Remove or change delegated access when responsibilities change, through an authorized manager or support.
Access denied is not permission to bypass
An unavailable link or access-denied state can indicate missing membership or an insufficient role. Ask the owner or support to check access; never borrow another person’s password or try to edit a shop identifier to gain access.
Something unclear or out of date?
Tell us which instruction needs correcting. Do not send passwords, recovery links, session tokens or unnecessary customer information.
