Set up your shop website and domain

Choose a website approach and arrange domain responsibilities during onboarding.

Content reviewed:

Agree the scope first

Depending on the written scope, WrenchFinder can link an existing website, add booking entry points or provide a hosted shop website. Owners and managers can access Website Builder when the workspace is configured.

Prepare a domain connection

A shop-owned domain remains the shop’s property. Arrange the required DNS access and publishing responsibilities with onboarding rather than assuming that saving a website draft connects a custom domain.

  1. Confirm the domain name and who controls its registrar/DNS account.
  2. Agree which website address will be used publicly.
  3. Provide authorized access using the agreed secure process; do not email account passwords.
  4. Verify the public site and booking links after publishing and domain setup are confirmed.

Content and software are different

The shop retains its supplied logo, photos and text. WrenchFinder retains its platform software and templates unless a written agreement expressly transfers them.
