How WrenchFinder works

Find a shop, send a service request and understand what the shop must confirm.

Find a local service

WrenchFinder connects drivers with independent automotive shops. Use the marketplace to compare the information shown for a service and location; the shop, not WrenchFinder, performs the repair.

  1. Open Find a shop and select a city or postal code from the location choices.
  2. Choose a service and add vehicle information when useful.
  3. Select a date when you need to narrow supported availability, or search without a date.
  4. Open a shop profile and check its services, location and contact details.

Request, then confirm

Sending a preferred time creates a request. Wait for the shop to confirm capacity, work scope and timing before treating it as a confirmed appointment. A search result does not reserve a bay.

Keep useful records

Sign in before submitting a request to make that new request eligible for Your visits. Save vehicle context in My Garage for reuse.
