Repair payments, refunds and warranties

Pay the independent shop and direct invoice or warranty questions to the business that provided the work.

Who collects repair payment

The current WrenchFinder service-request flow does not collect repair payments or charge a driver commission. The shop collects its repair charges directly. Confirm the accepted payment method with that shop.

Question an invoice or request a refund

Keep the estimate, authorization and receipt from the shop.

  1. Ask the shop to explain the disputed item or changed scope.
  2. Describe the resolution you are seeking and provide relevant records privately.
  3. Discuss any disclosed deposit or cancellation terms with the shop.
  4. Report a separate platform/listing issue to WrenchFinder when appropriate.

Warranty questions

Warranty coverage comes from the shop or applicable parts manufacturer, not a general WrenchFinder repair guarantee. Ask the provider for the scope and claim process in writing.
