Check the request status
Make sure the shop has actually confirmed the request before treating the preferred time as a firm appointment.
Your visits shows requests made while signed in to your account. Requests made as a guest do not appear there just because you sign in later; use the confirmation details from the shop or contact the shop directly.
Prepare useful vehicle context
Have the correct vehicle, symptoms and any relevant recent repair information ready for the shop.
- For a request made while signed in, review Your visits; for a guest request, use the shop confirmation details.
- Confirm the shop, date and vehicle.
- Write down symptoms or questions you want the shop to inspect.
- Confirm drop-off instructions directly with the shop.
Keep authorization clear
A booking confirmation does not automatically authorize every repair the shop may discover. Ask the shop to explain additional work and pricing before approving changes to scope.
